About The Authors
Michael P. Karadimas Paul R. Karadimas
Paul R. Karadimas and Michael P. Karadimas have deep roots in the Greek-American story of Detroit. Their family journey began in Greece and continued across generations in America, where hard work, business, community, and family became central to their lives. That connection to Detroit and its Greek heritage helped inspire the setting and spirit of The Kalogeris Blood Empire.
Their family history is one of people who arrived with little, worked tirelessly, built businesses, and created opportunities for those who came after them. From barber shops and restaurants to manufacturing and entrepreneurship, the Karadimas legacy reflects the determination and resilience of generations who made a new life in America.
About the book
the kalogeris
blood empire
A GREEK MOB SAGA
For generations, the Kalogeris family has built its name in the shadows of Detroit. What began with Konstantinos Kalogeris and a dream of survival grew into a powerful empire shaped by loyalty, ambition, and blood. From the docks and waterfront to legitimate businesses across the city, the family learned that power is not simply taken; it is built, protected, and passed from one generation to the next.
Testimonials
One Family. One Empire. Countless Impressions
Nikolas is not your typical crime boss character. His decisions are shaped by his family, his past, and the future he wants for those who come after him. That personal side made the story much more interesting for me.
Anthony Brooks
The book does a great job of showing how loyalty can hold a family together while ambition can tear everything apart. Nikolas carries the weight of his family’s history throughout the story, and that gives the book real depth.
Daniel Carter
I liked the pace of the story and the way the different enemies come into play. The Kalogeris family has built something huge, but keeping that empire is another matter entirely. There are plenty of twists to keep you turning the pages.
Robert Williams
The atmosphere of Detroit’s underworld comes through strongly in the story. There is a constant sense that someone is watching, planning, or waiting for the right moment. It creates the kind of tension that keeps you reading.
Emily Parker
For me, the strongest part of the book was its message about family. The violence and power struggles are important to the story, but underneath everything is a family trying to survive and protect its name. That gives the book an emotional side.
